Ear pinning, as it is also referred to, reduces the size of the ear and repositions it closer to the head. Keloids are commonly found over the earlobes and it is common for patients to seek removal to improve the disfigurement and bothersome symptoms. Insurance may cover this procedure and the subsequent treatment. The aging earlobe changes may leave the earlobe thin and droopy. This finding may be corrected using dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane.
